Tokyo Interbank Offer Rate

TIBOR. The interest rate at which banks charge each other for loans in Japan. The difference between the TIBOR and LIBOR is often referred to as the "Tokyo premium" or "Japan premium", since it represents the credit risk of Japanese banks.
