Securities Industry Association

SIA. The principal trade association and lobbying group for broker/dealers. SIA members include most members of the new york stock exchange, and many members of other exchanges and the Over-the-Counter market. In 2006 this organization merged with the bond market association to form the securities industry and financial markets association.
