Acquired Fund Fees And Expenses (AFFE)

A reported item in the prospectus of a FoF (Fund of Fund), a portfolio of other investment funds, intended to increase transparency for investors. The AFFE line reports the operating expenses of the mutual funds within the FoF portfolio. Prior to the federal requirement of the AFFE, these funds claimed no operating expenses, failing to disclose the expenses of the multiple managers within the collected funds.
