Zero-coupon Mortgage

A type of mortgage used primarily in the financing of business properties in which the principal and interest due on the loan are payable as a lump sum at the end of the term. This type of financing is used in business property acquisitions where the immediate cash flow is expected to be low but the value of the real estate is expected to increase.
