Wall Street Reform And Consumer Protection Act

Also known as H.R. 4173 Dodd-Frank bill, legislation enacted by Congress in 2010 with the intent of providing additional protections for consumers and investors. The law established the Consumer Financial Protection Agency which is tasked with regulating consumer finance companies and their products and services.
