Edward Jones

Together with charles dow and Charles Bergstresser, established Dow Jones & Company, the first company to monitor the financial information of corporations. The company produced a daily newsletter called the Customer's Afternoon Letter and was eventually transformed into the wall street journal. Jones was said to have been the company's employee manager and recordkeeper, helping to establish the way the stock market is monitored still today.
