Division Of Corporate Finance

A department within the SEC which reviews registration statements and performs related functions. This division's function is to ensure that investors have sufficient material information to make informed investment decisions. The Department of corporate finance monitors the provision of material information when the company initially makes an offering and on a regular basis afterwards.
