Continuously Offered Longer-term Securities (COLTS)

Debentures issued by the world bank for the purpose of financing its assistance programs. Issued in maturities of three to 30 years as fixed or variable rate bonds, COLTs are a primary source of funding for world bank initiatives that serve to help impoverished nations.
